Message of Executive Director
Since 2015, we have tried to bridge the gap between academia and policymaking. Keeping this in view, we at IICR endeavored on empirical-based research to draw future inferences.
IICR has always tried to conduct in-depth research on both traditional and non-traditional security issues and bilateral relations. IICR, as an independent and nonpartisan think-tank, is determined to promote and strengthen regional peace and harmony.
As the planet is transforming, there is a dire need for unprejudiced and significant study of national, regional, and international concerns. Islamabad Institute of Conflict Resolution (IICR) aims to draw a strategically comprehensive analysis of contemporary issues. Moreover, it not only aims to draw analysis but also to present policy recommendations & foreseeable way-forward.
I believe that it is that time when our country needs think-tanks to play actively the role they are destined to. It is time that nation works collectively to overcome national and international hurdles. Yet, there is a marathon to run in this regard.
